Mechanical Sanctuary

In the highest regions of Seven Wilting Flowers’ superstructure, she houses an amazingly large and diverse garden. In the eastern sections of the region, glass makes up the ceiling, allowing sunlight to shine into the rooms. These chambers are filled with trees, vines, and other plants that require such environments. In the western areas, no lights are allowed in at all, allowing for vegetation akin to what we see in darker regions, such as flashfruits, slime mold, and mushrooms. Under both of these areas are flooded chambers, where aquatic plants grow.

Flowers, in order to tend to her gardens and other chambers easier, modified her superstructure with rails that allow her to travel out of her chamber on her umbilical. So if you’re traversing these regions you may see her looking around occasionally.

(Fun fact!: toki was born naturally, not even having all the white bits and frills she has now. But then, they stumbled into a certain iterator’s facility…)

(fun fact 2: solar lizards are evolved strawberries! Better suited for the night. Strawberries were the best to evolve from because they already had fluff to survive the cold.)

decaying scaffolds

A city left unfinished, now decaying much faster than any other known currently. Once Radiant Blossoms had gotten rid of all the scavengers infesting her superstructure, they fled upwards towards the less decayed sections of the city. Feasting on mold spreading upwards from Blossoms’ chambers and fashioning an insane amount of spears out of rebar from scaffolding, the scavengers thrive here with no one to force them out. At the heart of the city, they’ve even begun building their own homes and trading areas. Perhaps this might be the rise of a new age of civilized creatures?

Swaying Towers!

Over many, many thousands of cycles, the communications arrays of Six Stones Skipped are beginning to weaken. Any travelers looking to climb these towers and find what (or who) could be keeping them even slightly functional will have to traverse these towers and dishes as they wobble and sway in the wind, their bases weakened over time.

Based on this post, honestly i think what I wrote did the scene more justice, but I thjnk I did fine with this one too ^-^
